September 30, 1966 — October 11, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Anthony Borucki, who left this world peacefully at his home on October 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 30, 1966, in Flemington, NJ, Carl was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warmth and unique perspective on life. Carl was the cherished son of Sylvia Jean Quick and the late Richard Joseph Borucki. He is survived by his devoted mother, Sylvia, and his loving siblings, Richard Borucki Jr. and Danielle Anne Borucki Blum and her husband Jarrod Blum . Carl was a proud and doting uncle to his nieces and nephews, Aaron Blum,Taylor-Paige Blum, Zoe Rae Olivia Borucki, Gavin Richard Borucki and Pepper his cat who now resides with Raina. His family was a source of immense joy and pride for him. Educated at Voorhees High School, Carl graduated in 1986 with a passion for the culinary arts, which he pursued during his high school years. His career as a chef saw him working alongside some of the finest chefs, including the renowned Chef Tell. Carl's culinary journey took him to various local restaurants, where he honed his craft and delighted patrons with his culinary creations. Later, he transitioned to goat farming and cheese making, and eventually, sheep and animal husbandry. His last employment was with Willow Pond Sheep Farm, managed by Brent & Carrie Wasser, where he found great fulfillment. Carl was a man of diverse interests and hobbies, finding joy in antiquing and yard sales. He had a keen eye for collecting odd and interesting objects from the past, each piece telling a story of its own. He found solace and contentment in the serene surroundings of the Hudson Valley, where he forged lasting friendships with the locals. Animals held a special place in Carl's heart, and he cherished the companionship of his furry friends. Known for his quiet nature, Carl treasured the friendships he held dear. He was a gifted storyteller, captivating listeners with tales of his adventures and experiences. Those fortunate enough to call him a friend knew they were truly special in his eyes. In his passing, Carl leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. As a tribute to his courage and the battles he faced, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in his memory and the Humane Society of Walden, NY, waldenhumane.org. I wasn’t able to add the humane society the automatic donation page, but feel free to reach out to them. The Borucki family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the friends in Gardiner, NY, who offered unwavering support to Carl during his time of need, especially Derrick & Kim, Raina, Winter, Gene, and Gary & Sharon. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Carl Anthony Borucki will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the stories and memories he so loved to share.
