Carl Anderson

February 18, 1975 — June 29, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Anderson, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world on June 29, 2026, at the age of 51. Carl was born on February 18, 1975, in the vibrant city of Kingston, Jamaica, to his devoted parents, Phyllis Levine and Lorenzo Anderson, both of whom have predeceased him. Carl's journey through life was marked by a dedication to family, a passion for music, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. He spent his formative years in Kingston, attending Nico Practicing Junior High and Holy Trinity High School, where he laid the foundation for a life of learning and community service. Carl's professional life was centered around his work at the Norman Manley International Airport. Starting as a clerk, his dedication and skill led to a promotion to the engineering department, where he worked diligently until his passing. His colleagues remember him not only for his expertise but also for his warm and generous spirit. Outside of his career, Carl was a man of many talents and interests. A founding member of the Allman Park Police Youth Club, he played an instrumental role in fostering community spirit and guiding young people towards positive futures. His love for music was evident to all who knew him; it was a source of joy and connection, bringing people together and lifting spirits wherever he went. Carl leaves behind a large and loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his siblings Clive, Alpheus, Stacey Ann Donald, Bevel, and Judith Anderson. He is also survived by Sharon, Noel, Elaine, and a host of nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law, all of whom will miss his kindness, humor, and the light he brought into their lives. Though Carl's time with us was cut short by illness, his impact was profound and lasting. He lived a life of purpose, driven by a desire to make the world a better place in whatever way he could. His legacy of compassion and service will live on through those he touched. For those who wish to honor Carl's memory, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice in his name, as a tribute to his generous spirit and love for helping others. Carl Anderson will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain with us forever, a guiding light and a beacon of hope.
