He is survived by his children: Duane Babineau, Lisa Myers, Darren and Susan Hotman, and Brian and Melinda Hotman. Though he had no grandchildren, Ray's impact on the lives of many young anglers and nature lovers felt as though his family extended into the community, spanning generations. Captain Ray Babineau's life was a tapestry of service, adventure, and love. He lived each day with purpose and joy, leaving behind a legacy of courage and kindness. His family and friends will forever hold his stories in their hearts, cherishing the memories of a truly remarkable man. A private service will be held for family and close friends.
