In Loving Memory

Caprice Saggio
January 15, 1968 — June 20, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Caprice Saggio, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Caprice departed this world on June 20, 2026, at the age of 58, after a tragic accident at her home in Saint Louis, Missouri, where she was born on January 15, 1968. Her spirit, though, remains vibrant and alive in the hearts of all who knew her.
Caprice was the cherished daughter of the late Tony Saggio and Beverly Boyer. She was also predeceased by her beloved grandmother, Betty Boyer, whose gentle wisdom and love she carried with her throughout her life. Caprice is survived by her devoted daughter, Chloe Stewart, and her son-in-law, Daric Rauch Sr., who brought immense joy to her life. Her grandson, Daric Rauch Jr., was the light of her world, and she often spoke of him with pride and love. Caprice also leaves behind her dear brother, Chris Saggio, with whom she shared a bond of laughter, memories, and unconditional support.
In 1999, Caprice married Tobey Stewart, beginning a journey of love and companionship that would enrich her life for many cherished years. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the simple joys of life, often found in the beauty of the outdoors, which Caprice adored.
From a young age, Caprice had an innate appreciation for the natural world. She found peace and happiness in the embrace of nature, whether it was taking long walks, tending to her garden, or simply enjoying the fresh air. Her love for the outdoors was infectious, inspiring those around her to pause and appreciate the serene beauty of the world.
Caprice's life was marked by her ability to love deeply and unconditionally. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and she made a lasting impact on the lives of everyone she encountered. Her family fondly remembers her as a woman who loved every single person who loved her, a testament to her boundless capacity for compassion and connection.
In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Caprice's remarkable life. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out with condolences and support during this difficult time.
Caprice Saggio will be remembered as a beacon of love and kindness. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, the memories and love she shared will forever remain in our hearts. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and joy that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity supporting nature conservation, an homage to Caprice's enduring love for the outdoors.
Rest in peace, dear Caprice. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
