Born on December 10, 1979, Candis was a beacon of love and resilience throughout her life. Candis was the cherished daughter of Carlos and Connie Bacon, who instilled in her the values of kindness and strength. She experienced the profound loss of her father, Carlos Bacon, and her beloved family member, Clarice Floyd, who predeceased her. Despite these losses, Candis carried forward their legacy of love and compassion, impacting everyone she encountered. She leaves behind a devoted family who will continue to honor her memory: Shayla and Eugene Elmore, and Clarice Bacon, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Candis's family was her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Candis's life was filled with simple joys and passions. She had a deep love for fishing, finding peace and solace in the tranquil waters. Her quest for peace was a constant in her life, a testament to her enduring spirit despite facing challenges and complexities within her family. A memorial service to celebrate Candis's life will be held on September 4, 2026, at 11:57 PM at East Georgia Regional. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Candis are invited to come together to honor her memory and share in the love she so freely gave. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in remembrance of Candis's generous spirit and her wish to make the world a better place. Candis Bacon will be remembered for her unwavering love, her strength in the face of adversity, and the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
