Candie Martin
July 4, 1969 — July 17, 2026
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Candie Martin, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on July 17, 2026. Born on July 4, 1969, Candie brought light and warmth to everyone she encountered. She left this world peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones, after a courageous battle with diabetes, which she faced with resilience and grace since the tender age of 12.
Candie's life was a testament to her enduring spirit and boundless love for her family. A devoted stay-at-home mother, she cherished every moment spent nurturing her daughter Britiny and later, her two amazing grandchildren. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and delectable aromas wafting from her kitchen, where she found joy in cooking for those she loved.
Her passions extended beyond her home, as she was an active member of her local church and community groups. Whether camping under the stars, tending to her vibrant garden, or simply sharing stories with friends, Candie's presence was a cherished gift. Her infectious smile and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Candie is survived by her devoted husband of 16 years, Rob, her beloved daughter Britiny, her cherished grandchildren, and her dear sister Misty. Her family was the centerpiece of her life, and their bond was a testament to the love and care she so generously bestowed.
In honoring Candie's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate her life and the incredible legacy she leaves behind. The family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who offered support and care during Candie's final months, as well as the dedicated hospital staff who worked tirelessly to provide her with comfort and dignity.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Candie's memory to the American Diabetes Association, an organization close to her heart, in hopes of advancing research and support for others facing similar challenges.
Candie's spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her unyielding strength, and her ability to make everyone around her smile. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
