Candice Ann Lee, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 46 in Omaha, Nebraska, following a sudden heart attack. Born on August 12, 1980, in Omaha, Candice's life was a testament to love, perseverance, and compassion. Candice was the cherished daughter of Kathleen Mahan-Dofner and Harry Dofner She was a loving daughter and a nurturing mother. She was predeceased by her twin children lost to a sudden miscarriage and her daughters, Sophie and Alise, whose memories she cherished deeply. In 2005, Candice married the love of her life, Ryan Lee, and together they built a beautiful family. She is survived by her husband, Ryan, and their children, Noah, Nathan, Natalie, Emma-Claire, and Charlotte. Candice's love extended to her granddaughter, Lacy Williams, who brought immense joy to her life. Candice's educational journey began at Central Christian in Omaha, where she attended high school before graduating from Omaha Central High School in 1999. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to Metropolitan Community College, where she earned an associate's degree in 2015. Her professional life was marked by dedication and hard work. Candice spent much of her career as a retail manager before embracing a new role as a waitress at Tanner's Bar and Grill. Despite her professional commitments, her most cherished role was that of a full-time mother, where her nurturing spirit truly shone. Dedicated her life to Christ at the age of 10 in 1990. In 1995, Candice's heart for service led her on a mission trip to Romania, reflecting her deep-seated commitment to helping others. Her hobbies were as diverse as they were enriching, encompassing decorating, nature, baking, cooking, gardening, and refurbishing antique items. She had a passion for ice skating, dancing, historical movies and locations, and aiding people with natural medicine. Her love for lemons and potatoes was as unique as her vibrant personality. Candice was a woman of strength and spirituality, known for putting the needs of others before her own. Candice's life will be celebrated at a service held on September 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Lifegate Midtown, located at 726 S 55th St, Omaha, NE 68106. She will have a visitation at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler located at 7805 W Center Rd, Omaha, NE 68124, on September 13, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
