CAMILLIA DASBY BRYANT

March 21, 1934 — June 26, 2026

March 21, 1934 - June 26, 2026 With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Camillia Dasby Bryant, who left us on June 26, 2026, at the age of 92. She departed this world surrounded by the comfort and love of her family at her cherished home in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Camillia was born on March 21, 1934, in the heart of Philadelphia, Mississippi, to the loving parents Joe Mack and Molly Dansby. She was a devoted daughter who took on the role of caregiver with grace and dedication until their passing, embodying the love and respect she held for her family. Camillia was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and joy, known for her open heart and welcoming spirit. She was a graduate of her hometown high school in Philadelphia, Mississippi, and went on to build a commendable career at the University of Southern, where she served with distinction as an Executive Secretary for over two decades. Her professionalism and commitment were admired by colleagues and students alike. A devoted member of the Main Street Baptist Church, Camillia's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was deeply involved in her church community, offering her time and compassion to those in need. Camillia's passion extended beyond her professional and spiritual life; she cherished her time spent with animals and was known for her gentle and nurturing spirit towards all creatures. Camillia's home was filled with laughter and love, always bustling with friends of all ages. Her daughters Lisa and Cynthia, along with her grandchildren and their friends, found in her a pillar of support and a source of endless love. She was predeceased by her loving parents, but her legacy lives on through her children: Joe Bryant Jr. (Janice), Lisa Bryant, and Cynthia Curry (George), her two grandchildren, and her great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. July was a special month for Camillia, as it marked the time of the Nashoba County Fair. It was her favorite time of the year, a period she eagerly anticipated to spend with her loved ones, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Rest in peace, dear Camillia. You will forever be missed and remembered.
