Born on March 24, 1943, in Oakland, California, Camille was the cherished daughter of Kenneth E. Swanson and Shirley V. Everett. She was welcomed into eternal rest by her parents and her brother, Phillip, who predeceased her.
Camille's journey through life was graced by her unwavering devotion to her family. Married to her beloved Jerry for 37 beautiful years, their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they nurtured a family that would become the cornerstone of Camille's world. She was the devoted mother of Wayne, Vance, Kim, and Robin, who mourn her passing but celebrate the profound impact of her love and guidance.
A devoted grandmother, Camille's heart was filled with joy and pride as she celebrated the lives of her grandchildren: Chad, Cory, Cody, Jordan, Reyni, Anthony, Justin, Zachary, Morgan, and her great grandchildren, Carter, Nathan, Luca, and Brynn. Her home was a haven of laughter and warmth, where her grandchildren and great grandchildren gathered to create cherished memories.
For many years, Camille dedicated herself to the loving and nurturing role of a stay-at-home mom, ensuring her children grew up in a home filled with love and encouragement. Her commitment to her family was matched by her commitment to her faith, as a member of Canyon Ridge Christian Church since 1993, where she found community, solace, and purpose.
Camille was a woman of diverse interests and passions. She found joy on and off of the tennis courts, watching horse races, tracks, and camaraderie in bowling alleys. Yet, her greatest passion was the time spent surrounded by her family, where her heart truly shone.
Those who knew Camille understood her as the true definition of God's child. Her loving, tender, and compassionate nature touched all who crossed her path. She was a woman of wit and humor, known for her infectious laughter and her forgiving spirit. Camille embraced life with an open heart, free of judgment, and full of grace.
A service to celebrate Camille's remarkable life will be held on June 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Palm Mortuary Cheyenne followed by her burial at 12 noon at Palm Mortuary NW, located at 6701 N. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
