Cameron Corrigan

February 26, 1998 — April 24, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cameron Corrigan, who left this world peacefully at home on April 24, 2026, after a courageous battle with Dravet Syndrome. Born on February 26, 1998, in Avon Lake, Ohio, Cameron blessed us with 28 years of love, laughter, and inspiration. Cameron was the cherished son of Matthew and Dawn Corrigan, who stood by him with unwavering support and love throughout his life. He was a beloved brother to Connor, Callie, and Catie, whose lives were enriched by his presence and whose hearts are forever touched by his spirit. His family remembers him with fondness and admiration for his resilience and the immense warmth of his character. Preceding Cameron in death were his grandparents, Peter and Lila Corrigan, and Jim and Pat Keadle, along with his special Aunt Dee Keadle, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Cameron leaves behind a family who loved him deeply, including Aunt Holly, Uncle Marty, Uncle Tim, Aunt Cindy, and Cousin James Blythe, along with James's children, Ty, Piper, and Lea, who all carry forward the legacy of his joyful spirit. Cameron was known for his huge and warm smile that could light up the darkest room and lift the heaviest heart. His smile was a testament to his indomitable spirit and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. Despite the challenges he faced, Cameron embraced life with courage and grace, teaching all who knew him the true meaning of strength and love. In remembering Cameron, we celebrate a life that, though too short, was filled with profound moments of happiness and love. We find comfort in the laughter and memories he shared with family and friends, and we are grateful for the time we had with him. To honor Cameron's life and his enduring spirit, the family requests that donations be made to Camp Imagine, an organization close to Cameron’s heart. It is a fitting tribute to a young man who found joy in imagination and creativity, and whose legacy will continue to inspire those who come after him. Cameron's family invites all who knew him to join them in celebrating his life, cherishing the light he brought into the world, and finding solace in the love he left behind. As we say goodbye, we hold on to the belief that Cameron's smile now shines down on us from above, forever a beacon of love and hope. Rest in peace, dear Cameron. You will be forever missed, always remembered, and eternally loved.
