In Loving Memory of Camden Elijah Edelman
With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Camden Elijah Edelman, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world far too soon on May 27, 2026. Born on November 12, 2009, in Ogden, Utah, Camden was the light in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Camden was the cherished son of Casey August Edelman and Kristi Michelle Edelman. From an early age, he demonstrated a zest for life and a boundless energy that seemed to captivate everyone around him. A proud Junior at Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville, SC, Camden was known for his infectious smile, his quick wit, and his unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Music was Camden’s soul—a language through which he expressed his deepest emotions and connected with the world around him. Whether he was immersed in his headphones or eagerly sharing the latest song that had touched his heart, Camden’s passion for music was undeniable. The only time you would find him without music was when he was exploring the limits of his own vocal talents while enjoying his second favorite pastime: gaming with his brothers, Jordan, Carter, and Masen.
When life seemed a little too quiet, Camden could often be found playfully competing with his nephews, Luciano and Ace, for the attention of their mother and his beloved sister, Taeler. His unique ability to love, entertain, and occasionally frustrate his siblings was unmatched. The bond he shared with his family was filled with laughter, affection, and countless memories that will be cherished forever.
Camden was a happy-go-lucky young man with a heart of gold. His kindness knew no bounds, and he was always ready to offer a helping hand or a comforting word to anyone in need. His laughter was contagious, a sweet melody that could lift spirits and brighten even the darkest of days. Camden had an innate ability to make those around him feel valued and loved, never allowing anyone to feel sadness or loneliness in his presence.
His sudden and unexpected passing has left a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever remain a guiding light for those who continue to walk this earth without him. Though we mourn the years we will not share, we celebrate the beautiful memories Camden created and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.
A service to honor and celebrate Camden's life will be held on June 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Renovation Church, located at 611 Richardson Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Camden are invited to come together to remember the joy he brought into our lives.
The Edelman family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, love, support, and kindness during this difficult time. Your comforting words, visits, calls, flowers, and acts of generosity have helped carry them through an unimaginable loss. Though Camden’s time with us was fleeting, his impact was immeasurable. We will forever cherish the laughter, compassion, and joy he brought to those who knew and loved him.
Camden Elijah Edelman will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him. Rest in peace, dear Camden. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our lives and guide us through the days ahead.
