In Loving Memory of Callie Nora Hayes With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Callie Nora Hayes, who left this world on April 9, 2026, at the tender age of 18. Callie was born on February 10, 2008, in the charming town of Columbia, Missouri, and from that moment, she brought an abundance of love and light to everyone she encountered. Callie's life, though brief, was a tapestry of vibrant colors and joyful memories. She was the cherished daughter of John and Maxine Hayes and the beloved sister to Jeremiah and Alice Hayes. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and the bond they shared was one of undeniable love and support. In addition to her family, Callie was blessed with a friendship that was more like family with Juliana Marie Montez, her confidant and partner in countless adventures. From an early age, Callie had an insatiable curiosity about the world around her. Her passion for travel took her to many places, each journey adding to her collection of stories and enriching her understanding of life. Alongside Juliana Marie, she created memories filled with laughter and exploration, each moment cherished and held dear. Whether attending electrifying concerts or discovering hidden gems in new locales, Callie's adventurous spirit was inspiring. Callie graduated from Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri, in 2025, marking a significant milestone in her young life. Throughout her education, she was known for her kindness, her laughter that was contagious, and a smile that could light up even the darkest room. Her natural ability to uplift those around her left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Tragically, Callie passed away due to complications during surgery. Her departure has left a void that can never be filled, yet the memories of her warmth and humor will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Her parents, John and Maxine, express their deepest gratitude for the love and support shown by friends and family during this time of immense sorrow. While the gathering will be intimate, the love and memories shared by all who knew Callie will echo far beyond the confines of any space. The family shares this special message: "She leaves behind parents who adored her and her best friend, Juliana Marie, who loved her like family. She will be forever loved and deeply missed."
