February 19, 1984 — August 23, 2026

Caleb Noriega, 42, of Watsonville, California, passed away on August 23, 2026. Born and raised in Watsonville, Caleb was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, friend, and a light to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Caleb was one of the most kind hearted and sensitive men you could ever meet. He loved life and embraced it with a genuine joy that was uniquely his. He was funny, goofy, loving, and always ready to make those around him smile. Above all, Caleb was an incredible father. He adored his sons, Leo and Luke and took great joy in the things they loved. Whatever interested his boys became something he wanted to know, experience, and enjoy alongside them. His love for his children was unconditional, and being their dad was one of the greatest joys of his life. Caleb was also a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nancy Miranda, and a cherished son to Rita and Santana Noriega. He leaves behind his twin brother, Josue, and his sister, Sharleen, along with his extended family and many friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. A big UFC fan, Caleb enjoyed cheering on the fights, but what mattered most to him was spending time with the people he loved. He treasured family time, adventures, good friendships, and simply making memories together. Caleb had a heart for helping others. He was the kind of person who would lend a hand without expecting anything in return. He freely shared his knowledge, offered his time, and was always willing to help someone who needed it. His generosity was not something he talked about it was simply who he was. Above all, Caleb was a follower of Christ, and his faith was a cornerstone of his life. The love, kindness, compassion, and willingness to serve others that he showed throughout his life were a reflection of that faith. His relationship with Christ was a staple of the man he was and a legacy he leaves behind. Caleb's life was far too short, but the love he gave was immeasurable. His laughter, his goofy sense of humor, his tenderness, his generosity, and the way he loved his family will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through his sons, his wife, his family, his friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Until we meet again, Caleb. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

The Glad Awakening

We do not sorrow as those without a sign, For death is but a slumber, short and deep, A quiet resting place by grace divine, Where safe in Jesus' arms our loved ones sleep. The troubles of this earth are past and done, The tears are dried, the weary heart is still, Until the dawning of that glorious sun, When Christ returns upon the clouds of hill. No grief can reach them through the silent night, No pain can touch them in the quiet clay— They wait the trumpet call and living light, To wake in immortality that Day. by Margaret Mackay
