Buster Lee Rogers
July 8, 1968 — March 7, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Buster Lee Rogers, who departed from this world on March 7, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on July 8, 1968, in the charming town of Leeds, Alabama, Buster was a beacon of light, love, and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him. After a courageously fought battle with cancer, he gained his wings to go home to be with his Savior and the loved ones who awaited him.
Buster was the cherished son of Buster and Billie Ann Rogers. He was predeceased by his father, Buster Rogers, and his brother, Paul Rogers, whose memories he carried lovingly throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted mother, Billie Ann Rogers, and his brothers, Frankie Rogers and Tommy Rogers (Ann). Buster also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Buster, along with many close friends who were more like family.
A true son of Alabama, Buster had an indomitable spirit and a special love for the outdoors and music. His happiest moments were spent riding the back roads, with the wind in his hair and his favorite tunes playing. He adored riding dirt bikes, fishing, and being surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. Known for his quick wit and fun-loving attitude, Buster had a knack for storytelling that could light up any room. To know him was to love him, and his presence will be dearly missed by all who had the fortune to be part of his world.
Buster had a talent for fixing things, and there wasn't much he couldn't repair. On the rare occasion he encountered a challenge beyond his skill, he always knew someone who could help, embodying a resourcefulness that was admired by all.
In honor of Buster's life and his valiant fight, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, a cause close to his heart.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at UAB St. Clair in Pell City, Alabama. Their exceptional care and compassion for Buster and his family during his final days were a source of great comfort. A heartfelt acknowledgment is given to the ER doctor who prayed with Buster and the dedicated nurses and doctor on the second floor who treated him with kindness and dignity.
As we bid farewell to Buster, we hold onto the stories, the laughter, and the love he shared. His life was a testament to the beauty of living in the moment and cherishing those around us. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
