She continued her education at high school in Verklark, Soweto, where she formed lifelong friendships and developed a deep appreciation for her community and its vibrant culture. Busi's life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and the power of love. She was a devoted sister to Thokozile Simelane, Rebecca Mabaso, Gladys Mabaso, Vusi Simelane, and Jabulile Simelane, cherishing each moment spent with them. Her siblings remember her as a beacon of warmth and wisdom, always ready with a comforting word or a joyful laugh. Throughout her life, Busisiwe exemplified selflessness and dedication to helping others. Her commitment to her community and to those less fortunate was evident in every action she took. A service to honor and celebrate Busisiwe's life will be held on September 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM at 692 Mofolo South, Soweto.
