April 6, 2001 — March 23, 2026

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Bryson Ortegon, born on April 6, 2001, in Fort Worth, Texas. Bryson departed this world on March 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. Bryson was a cherished son to Natasha Ortegon and a beloved brother to Logan Ortegon. He is survived by a loving family, including his stepmother Raegan Bell, grandparents Robin and Jimmy Perkins, aunt Kristin Olivo, uncle Adam Olivo, and cousins Aryana, Christian, Hayden, Athena, Sophia, and Valentina Teran, as well as Ethan and Anthony Olivo. He joins in eternal rest his grandfather, Roger Pete Ortegon, his Nanny, Norma Porter, and his Papa, Billy Porter. Bryson's journey was marked by his dedication and hard work at Northwest Pipe in Saginaw, Texas, where he spent nearly three years as a pipe painter. Working alongside two of his cousins, Bryson's days were filled with laughter and camaraderie, traits that he carried into all facets of his life. A true enthusiast of cars, Bryson found joy in his 2023 Mustang GT, often delighting in the simple pleasure of acquiring new parts, even if he never got around to installing them. His love for fishing was a cherished activity shared with his buddies, brother, and Papa, moments that will be remembered fondly. Bryson was also an avid gamer, once dreaming of a career where others could share in the thrill and excitement of his gaming adventures. Those who knew Bryson recognized his gentle spirit beneath a sometimes tough exterior. He possessed a heart as vast as his smile, which could light up any room he entered. His greatest weakness, as he would lovingly admit, was his baby cousins, whose tiny fingers had him wrapped around them from the start. A celebration of Bryson's life will be held on April 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Biggers Funeral Home, located at 6100 Azle Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76135. Family, friends, and all whose lives Bryson touched are invited to gather in remembrance of the beautiful soul he was. As we honor Bryson's memory, we hold close the message he embodied: "You matter, I matter, We matter! Stay another Day!" May this serve as a beacon of hope and a reminder of the importance of reaching out, staying connected, and cherishing every moment we have with one another. In this time of sorrow, let us find comfort in the love Bryson shared and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. His light will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, dear Bryson. You are forever loved and never forgotten.
