In Loving Memory

Bryson May
February 4, 1997 — May 11, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bryson May, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend. Born on February 4, 1997, in Charleston, Bryson departed this world on May 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and inspiration that will be cherished forever.
Bryson's early years were spent in the charming town of Charleston, where he was raised by his loving parent, known affectionately as Trickymay21. He later moved to Booneville, a place where he cultivated many of the passions and friendships that defined his life. He graduated from Booneville High School, a pivotal period that shaped his future path, despite the absence of a college degree.
A dedicated educator, Bryson found his calling at Charleston Middle School, where he inspired young minds as a history teacher and left an indelible mark as a legendary coach for both football and softball. His enthusiasm and love for coaching extended beyond the field, as he became a mentor and role model to countless students.
Bryson's interests were as vibrant as his personality. He was the proud president of the Harry Potter fan club, a role that allowed him to share his passion for the magical world with others. Whether he was playing Fortnite, watching Harry Potter marathons, or indulging in his favorite McFlurry, Bryson embraced life with a joyful spirit and an infectious sense of humor. Known for his silly antics and a penchant for being a bit of a troll, he brought smiles and laughter to all who knew him.
Bryson's heart belonged to his cherished wife, Bearcat Brittany, and their beloved sons, who survive him. His love for his family was boundless, and he leaves behind a legacy of devotion and cherished memories that they will carry with them always. In his personal life, Bryson was captivated by the love he shared with crackagail, a testament to his capacity for deep connections and affection.
In honor of Bryson's vibrant life and enduring spirit, the family has established the "RIP BEARCAT BRYSON" Memorial Fund. Contributions can be made to hannah ward, lily kennedy, and maddie swain, organizations close to Bryson's heart.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out with love and support during this difficult time. In a special message, they express, "We will miss you with all of our hearts, Bearcat Bryson."
A celebration of Bryson's life will be held to honor his memory and the impact he had on all who were fortunate to know him. Details of the service will be announced at a later date.
Though Bryson has left us far too soon, his spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave to others.
