Bryan was born on February 19, 2008, in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee, to loving parents Sandra Hernandez and Javier Tejas. He faced life with the courage of a warrior and, after a long and brave battle, succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and love. Bryan's journey through life was marked by an indomitable spirit and an infectious smile that could light up the darkest of days. Despite facing significant challenges, he was unwavering in his pursuit of personal growth and transformation, always striving to become a better version of himself. He is survived by his devoted mother, Sandra Hernandez, and his cherished siblings, Alisson and Maria Hernandez. He also leaves behind his half-brother, Carlos Hernandez, who will forever hold dear the memories they shared. Bryan's love life was a testament to his capacity for deep affection. Chloe Castaneda held a special place in his heart, offering him solace and light during challenging times. Though their paths diverged, their connection was a cherished part of his life, a testament to love's enduring power. Bryan's educational journey was one of exploration and learning, attending Cane Ridge Elementary, Antioch Middle School, and various high schools, including Franklin High School. He was a young man of many talents, channeling his vibrant energy into pursuits that brought him joy and fulfillment. As an MMA fighter with an impressive 14-2 record, a wrestler, a soccer player, and a dedicated worker in both warehouse and construction, Bryan approached each role with passion and determination. Music was one of Bryan's hidden passions, and he found solace in creating love songs that spoke to his yearning for connection and understanding. His love for the UFC and MMA was not just a hobby but a reflection of his fighting spirit and tenacity. Bryan was predeceased by several beloved family members, including his father, Javier Tejas, his Uncle Juan Hernandez, Uncle Bony Hernandez, and his brother, Sage Smith. He was also predeceased by his sister-in-law, Megan Hernandez, and his nieces, Kate and Jocelyn Hernandez. Their memories will forever be a part of Bryan's story, woven into the fabric of his life and legacy. Though his time with us was tragically brief, Bryan's desire for a united family and his dreams of love and belonging will continue to inspire all who knew him. His life was a testament to the power of hope and the enduring strength of the human spirit. A service to honor and celebrate Bryan's life will be held on April 17, 2026, at 5:30 PM at Patton Brothers Funeral Home, located at 1306 South Street, Nashville. Friends and family are invited to gather to remember a young man who touched countless lives with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering courage. Bryan, though you have left this world, your spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved you. May you find the peace and love you so desired in the arms of eternity.
