It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bryan D. Mitchell, who departed this life on October 7, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on November 1, 1964, in Stockton, California, Bryan was the beloved son of Dwight and Laura Mitchell, who predeceased him, along with his cherished grandparents, Ollie and Marie Williams and Wesley and Nina Mitchell. Bryan grew up in California, where his love for adventure was sparked by water skiing and dirt biking as a child. These activities not only brought him joy but also defined the spirited and lively nature that his family and friends came to adore. For over three decades, Bryan dedicated himself to the family business, Mitchell’s Concrete Co., working as a cement finisher alongside his father. His commitment to his craft was evident in the meticulous work he produced, each project a testament to his dedication and skill. Bryan's contributions to the company left a lasting legacy, reflecting his hard work and passion for excellence. Those who knew Bryan will fondly remember his incredible sense of humor. He always had a silly or "dumb" joke ready, a small but significant way he spread laughter and joy to those around him. His humor and light-hearted spirit were constants that brightened the lives of his family and friends. Bryan is survived by his wife, Cindy Owens, and his cherished son, James Mitchell. He also leaves behind his dear sister, Debbie Mitchell, who will forever hold his memory close to her heart. A service to honor and celebrate Bryan's life will be held on October 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cherokee Memorial (Evergreen Chapel), located at 14165 Beckman Road, Lodi, CA 95240. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Bryan are invited to join in remembrance of his life and legacy.
