Bruce Morris, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the age of 66, in Warren, Ohio, after a brief illness. Born on December 31, 1959, in Warren, Ohio, Bruce was the cherished son of the late Glen (Moe) and Alice Welsh Morris. Bruce's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family. He is survived by his devoted wife and soulmate of nearly 40 years, Debbie, with whom he shared a life filled with laughter, adventure, and an unbreakable bond, having married on October 4, 1986. Together, they lovingly raised two children, Jeremy Morris and Megan (Ryan) Ifft, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and compassion. Bruce was also the proud grandfather of Reagan Ifft, who was the light of his life and brought him immense joy. A man of many talents, Bruce's career began in the restaurant industry, where he honed his skills and formed lifelong friendships. However, it was his role as a Lab Tech at Great Lakes Cheese that defined his professional life. At GLC, Bruce was not just an employee but a cherished member of the extended family, known for his dedication, integrity. Bruce was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Summer days were spent by the pool with Debbie, sharing stories and laughter over a refreshing drink. He cherished the thrill of a visit to the casino and the joy of gatherings with friends and family. Predeceased by his parents, Glen and Alice Morris, his brother Mark Morris, and his nephew Jerimiah Honthy, Bruce's memory will forever be cherished by his surviving family. Wife Debbie, son Jeremy, daughter Megan (Ryan) Ifft, granddaughter Reagan Ifft, Mother in law Pat Teringo, Sister in law Kim (Shawn) Boyle and their children Brittany (Nick) ___ and Amanda. cousins, including Robynn, Debbie, Patty, Tim, and all the Thomas cousins. His circle of love extended to dear friends Denise, Ginny, Emily and Jim, and Lois, who all held a special place in his heart. and also he leaves behind his sister, Glenna (Frank) Palmer and numerous nieces and nephews. Bruce's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who supported them during this difficult time. The love and kindness shown by his friends, family, and the GLC community have been a source of comfort and strength. In honoring Bruce's memory, let us remember the warmth of his laughter, the kindness of his heart, and the love he shared so freely. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at a later date, where stories and memories will be shared in his honor.
