Bruce M. Blomberg, a devoted family man and cherished friend, departed this world peacefully on September 10, 2026, surrounded by love and gratitude for a life well-lived. Born on August 3, 1951, in Peekskill, NY, Bruce was the beloved son of the late Rose and Ted Orlowski, whose values and warmth shaped his character and life journey. Bruce's life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. He shared many beautiful years with his significant other, Michelle Lerner, who stood by his side through life’s triumphs and challenges. His legacy of love and kindness continues through his children, Cari Pisciotta (Joseph Pisciotta), Kristen Alston (Shelton Alston), and Bruce J. Blomberg (Chelsea). Each day, they carry forward his spirit of generosity and compassion. Bruce was the proud grandfather to eight adoring grandchildren: Autumn, Amber, and Dominic Pisciotta; Shelton Alston III and Alexander Alston; Sloane Blomberg; and Genevieve. He cherished the time he spent with them, teaching them the importance of family, laughter, and love. A man of integrity and quiet strength, Bruce touched the lives of many with his gentle nature and unwavering support. His laughter and wisdom will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held on September 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Torsone Funeral Home, located on Main Street in Highland, NY. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Bruce are invited to gather in his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Bruce's own spirit of giving and community support. Though Bruce has left us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to family and friends.
