It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Micheal Pope, who departed this life on March 30, 2026, at the age of 74. Micheal passed away at his home, after a long and courageous battle with illness. Born on May 25, 1951, in the vibrant city of Detroit, Micheal was the cherished son of Clinton and Savannah Pope, who have predeceased him, along with his brother Phillp Pope.. Micheal Clinton Pope was a proud graduate of Northwestern High School, where he began to cultivate the qualities that would define him throughout his life—kindness, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to his community. His gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone he met, leaving a legacy of love and compassion that will endure in the hearts of many. A devoted member of Peace Baptist Church and Triumph Church, Micheal found joy and solace in his faith, nurturing a strong sense of community and support. His love for fishing was well-known, a pastime that brought him tranquility and joy amidst the beauty of nature. These moments of peace were a testament to his appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Micheal's leaves to cherish his memory. Sisters Judith Olive and Angela Edwards (Keith), Brother John Pope, a Sister in law Patricia Pope (Phillip) a niece and 3 nephews, a long time friend Andrean White, and a host of relatives The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Equity Alliance for graciously providing their facilities for this special occasion. The kindness of this gesture is deeply appreciated during this time of reflection and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Micheal's legacy of generosity and benevolence. As we bid farewell to Michael Pope, we carry with us the indelible mark of his spirit, forever etched in our hearts.
