Brittany rena Hamm

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brittany Rena Hamm, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, who left us on October 18, 2026. Brittany's journey began on March 1, 1991, in Columbus, Ohio, where she was born to Robert Affolter and Joyce Hamm. Her life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Brittany was a woman of many talents and interests. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as kayaking and camping. She cherished evenings spent around a campfire, listening to music with her friends and family. Brittany also enjoyed the personal ritual of getting her nails done, a small indulgence that brought her happiness. Her family was the center of her universe. Brittany is survived by her loving mother, Joyce Maxwell, and her stepfather, John Maxwell. She was a mother to three beautiful children, Harmony, Brody Stephens, and Riley Madison Howerton, all of whom she loved deeply. Her fiancé, Philip Lowe, with whom she found love and companionship since May 2021, recently became the man she intended to spend her life with. Brittany aka BB shared a close bond with her sisters, Carrie and Jessica Hamm, and was a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her legacy continues through her nine grandchildren, who will forever carry a part of her spirit. Brittany was preceded in death by her father, Robert Affolter, whose memory she held dear. A celebration of Brittany's life will be held on October 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Globe Funeral Home in Olive Hill, KY. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor a life that touched so many. Brittany Rena Hamm will be profoundly missed, but the love she shared and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
