February 10, 1991 — May 14, 2026

In loving memory of Britney O'Conner Kennedy, who was tragically taken from us at the tender age of 35 on May 14, 2026. Born on February 10, 1991, in Franklin, Louisiana, Britney was a beacon of light and joy, whose presence was felt by all who were fortunate to know her. Her sudden passing in a fatal car accident leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family, friends, and community. Britney was the beloved daughter of Tabitha Dupuy Hearndon (Thomas) and Wyrick W Landry Jr, and cherished by her bonus mom, Tanya G Halford. She was a devoted mother to her three beautiful children: Ayla Jade O'Conner, Kai Kennedy, and Easton Kennedy, whom she adored beyond measure. Britney's love for her children was boundless, and she found immense joy in engaging with their interests and nurturing their dreams. A woman of many talents, Britney had a passion for makeup artistry, using her creative skills to bring beauty and confidence into the lives of those around her. Her artistic spirit extended beyond cosmetics; she had a deep appreciation for art in all its forms. Britney was known for her infectious laughter, vibrant smile, and the warmth she exuded, which could light up the darkest of rooms. She was a dreamer who always put the needs of others before her own, embodying selflessness and kindness in all her interactions. Britney is survived by her parents, Tabitha and Wyrick, her bonus mom Tanya, her cherished children, Ayla, Kai, and Easton, and her brothers, Wesley Daniel Landry and Mason Landry. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles who will miss her dearly. Her family and friends will forever remember her as the loving, generous, and joyful soul who touched their lives. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Frances and William Dupuy Sr., paternal grandfather, Wyrick W. Landry Sr., mother-in-law, Kirston Nicole (Nikki) Kennedy, her uncle, William H Dupuy Sr., and the unborn child she was carrying at the time of her passing. The family takes solace in the thought that she is now reunited with those she loved and lost. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Britney's life, offering her family a moment of peace and reflection during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Support For Britney Kennedy's Family" at GoFundMe link, to assist in providing for her children's future and to honor Britney's legacy of love and care. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Picayune Funeral Home for their compassionate services during this time of mourning. They also wish to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support, and ask that you continue to keep Britney’s family in your prayers in the days to come. Britney O'Conner Kennedy's light may have been extinguished far too soon, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her. She will forever be remembered for the joy and laughter she brought into the world, and for the beautiful legacy she leaves behind in her children. May she rest in peace.
