Briana nicole Morris

Briana Nicole Morris, born on May 5, 1994, in Sanford, North Carolina, has left us too soon on September 19, 2026. Her passing is deeply felt by all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed by her family and friends. Briana was the beloved daughter of Gary Dean Morris and Catherine Michelle Young. Though she faced the loss of her grandmother and a twin sister at birth, she carried their memories close to her heart throughout her life. She is survived by her cherished children, Ori, Ruby, Jayson, Jamar, and Jasper, who were the light of her life and her greatest joy. She often spoke of her deep desire to be reunited with them, and her love for them was boundless. Briana's family extended beyond her children. She leaves behind her devoted brothers, Aaron J. Morris, Antonio L. Morris, and Anthony Ellaby, as well as her loving sisters, Tiffany Douglas and Natasha Morris, who was her guardian. Her legacy of kindness and humor will continue to live on through a host of nieces and nephews. Briana was also remembered fondly by Roger McCutchen, with whom she was once engaged, and Jamar Griffin, the father of her boys. Though she did not complete her studies at Lee County High School after the passing of her grandmother, Briana's intelligence and wit shone brightly in every aspect of her life. Her laughter was infectious, and her ability to lift the spirits of those around her was a testament to her caring nature. She was known for her open heart and her willingness to embrace strangers with warmth and kindness. Briana was always ready to share a smile or a joke, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. A private funeral service will be held on September 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Lillington Star in Lillington, North Carolina. In this intimate setting, her family will gather to celebrate her life, remembering her as a beacon of love and laughter. In honor of Briana's memory, the family encourages donations to organizations supporting mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Her favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," will forever remind us of her enduring faith and strength.
