It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Brian Scott Bradshaw, who peacefully departed this world on April 17, 2026, at his cherished home, surrounded by the love of his family. Brian was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, where he began a journey marked by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. Brian was the beloved son of Sandra MacCready and the late Ollie Bradshaw Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, his sister, Stephanie Bradshaw Ricks, and his stepfather, Art Neal, whose memories he held dear and whose spirits now embrace him once more. Brian leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, survived by his devoted wife, Wendi, whose partnership and companionship enriched his life beyond measure. Together, they nurtured a family filled with love and laughter. His children, Shannon (Tommy), Lauryn, Caitlyn, Malia, and Jacob, were the pride and joy of his life, each carrying forward the values and strength he instilled in them. His brother, Dave (Dawn), stands testament to the strong family bonds that were a cornerstone of Brian's life. As an employee at M&R Sheet Metal Contractors, Brian dedicated 15 years as a Machine Operator shop supervisor. His colleagues, especially John, Kelly, Kate, Mike, Austin, Mark, and Vic (Chaplain), were not just coworkers but an extended family, sharing in the laughter and camaraderie that made each workday meaningful. Brian's life was further blessed with the joy brought by his five grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into his days, each a testament to his enduring legacy. His heart was full of the stories, laughter, and love that only a grandparent knows. In this time of profound sorrow, Brian's family extends their deepest gratitude to Nurse Nicki with Trinity Hospice, whose care and compassion provided comfort during Brian's final days. Her kindness will forever be remembered. Brian Scott Bradshaw's life was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering commitment to family and friends. As we gather to remember and celebrate his life, we hold onto the memories that bring us solace and joy. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who knew him.
