Brian Len Coulter

Brian Len Coulter, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 1, 2026, in the place he called home, Enid, Oklahoma. Born on August 7, 1978, in Enid, Brian brought light and laughter to those around him for 48 years. The son of Myron and the late Debra Coulter, he was a cherished member of a large and loving family. Brian grew up in Aline, Oklahoma, and graduated from Timberlake High School in 1996. He went on to further his education at Redlands Community College, where he spent two enriching years. Following his educational pursuits, Brian dedicated 26 years of his life working alongside his father, Myron, as a skilled Millwright at Coulter Construction. His talent extended beyond his profession; he was a gifted welder and craftsman, known for his meticulous handiwork and attention to detail. Brian's heart was captured by the art of team roping, a passion ignited during his high school years. He excelled in this sport, winning numerous competitions, including the prestigious Bobby Rush Memorial Roping, often riding his cherished horse, Doc. His love for sports extended to basketball, where he showcased his talent on the court during his school days, and he was also an enthusiastic golfer and skier. A loyal Oklahoma State University fan, Brian's excitement for sports was infectious to those around him. His sense of humor and sharp wit were well-known among his friends and family. Brian was always ready with a quick remark or thoughtful opinion, and his dependability made him a cornerstone in the lives of many. His adventurous spirit led him to embrace skiing, both on snowy slopes and water, where he found joy and freedom. Brian leaves behind a family who adored him deeply: his father, Myron Coulter of Aline; his sisters, Lindsay and her husband Matt of Waukomis, and Lacey and her husband Greg of Enid. He was a treasured uncle to Kelsey, Brynli, and Kaylee, and nephews Keegan, Bryson, and Kasen. He is also survived by his grandparents, Winnie Melrose and Marilyn Coulter, who held a special place in his heart. Brian is predeceased by his loving mother, Debra Coulter, and his grandparents, Carolyn and Wilbur Johnson, Raymond Coulter, Donald and Patricia Ekern, James Helterbrake, and Herold Melrose. A service to honor and celebrate Brian’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on September 8, 2026, at the Anderson-Burris Chapel in Enid, Oklahoma. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of a man who touched their hearts with his kindness and skill. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Benny's Barn Equine Therapy/Riding Facility through Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, an organization that reflects Brian's lifelong love for horses and roping. Brian Len Coulter will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. His memory will forever be a cherished blessing.
