Brian Jones, a beloved son, brother, partner, and soon-to-be father, passed away tragically on June 16, 2026, at the age of 41. Born on May 20, 1985, in Detroit, Michigan, Brian was a vibrant soul whose life was a tapestry of joy, laughter, and love. Raised in the heart of Detroit, Brian attended Detroit Public Schools, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and a passion for learning. He carried his love for his hometown into his professional life, dedicating himself to a career at Ford Motor Company. Brian’s work was more than just a job; it was a testament to his commitment to excellence and his love for the community he served. Brian was a cherished member of the Greater Grace Baptist Church, where he found solace and strength in his faith. His involvement with the church was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with a sense of purpose and connection to others. Known for his infectious energy, Brian was truly the life of the party. Whether he was skating, singing, dancing, or playing football, his enthusiasm was contagious. He brought smiles and laughter wherever he went, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Brian is survived by his loving partner, Statoria Burns, his devoted mother, Joann Jones, his sister, and his nieces and nephews. Brian was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first child, and though he will not be here to welcome them into the world, his spirit and love will undoubtedly guide them throughout their life. He is predeceased by his grandparents on both sides and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, whose memories he cherished deeply. In honor of Brian’s vibrant life, a private funeral ceremony will be held. Those wishing to honor his memory are encouraged to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
