October 6, 1962 — February 25, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Gorneault, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, who peacefully departed from this world on February 25, 2026, at the age of 63. Brian was born on October 6, 1962, in Fort Kent, Maine, to the late Gilman and Cora (Dionne) Gorneault. His journey through life was one marked by kindness, humility, and an enduring willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Brian's life was filled with hard work and dedication. Throughout the years, he found purpose in his various roles, contributing his skills and talents to General Supply, Aroostook Roofing, and Cary Medical Center. In each of these positions, he was known not only for his diligent work ethic but also for his warm smile and the genuine camaraderie he shared with his colleagues. Brian was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Gilman and Cora Gorneault, as well as his brothers Larry, Gary, and Gilman Jr., and his sister Angelina. Their memories were always close to his heart, and he often spoke of them with love and fondness. Left to honor and cherish Brian's memory are his devoted brothers, Phil (Mae) and Emilien (Margaret), and his sisters, Rose Gorneault and Laurie Poisson. Brian's legacy of love and generosity continues to live on in his many nieces and nephews, who will forever hold him dear in their hearts. Brian was a man of quiet strength and unwavering kindness. Even as his health declined, his spirit remained unbroken, and he continued to offer his support and compassion to those around him. His gentle nature and selflessness left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Brian's sister Laurie and her daughters, Nicole, Danielle, Tonya, and Serae, for the wonderful care and love they provided during his final days. Their dedication allowed Brian to pass peacefully at home, surrounded by the warmth of family. A graveside service will be held in Brian's honor at Saint Euthrope Cemetery in Guerrette, Maine. The family invites all who knew and loved Brian to join them in celebrating his life and cherishing the memories he leaves behind. Brian's absence will be profoundly felt, but his spirit will forever be a guiding light for those he touched. In this time of sorrow, may we find comfort in the love he shared and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind.
