In Loving Memory

Brian Bachmeier
April 24, 1964 — July 3, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Brian Bachmeier, who left this world on July 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 24, 1964, in the small, welcoming town of Oaks, North Dakota, Brian was a beacon of light, love, and laughter for all who knew him.
The son of Phillip and Bertha Bachmeier, Brian grew up with a deep appreciation for family and the great outdoors. He carried these values into his adulthood, cultivating a life rich with love, adventure, and dedication. He was a master carpenter by trade, known for his meticulous craftsmanship and an uncanny ability to breathe new life into classic cars. His man cave was his sanctuary, where he spent countless hours tinkering and sharing stories with his brother Terry Linghor and numerous friends.
On July 10, 2004, Brian married Cathy, with whom he shared nearly three decades of love, laughter, and companionship. Their bond was so profound that they celebrated their love anew by renewing their vows in 2024. Together, they enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, from camping and fishing to hosting lively BBQs and playing music in his cherished band.
Brian's love for the outdoors was matched only by his passion for family. He is survived by his devoted wife Cathy, his loving daughter Natasha Carstensen, his dedicated son Kenny Leopold and loving brother Terry Linghor. His legacy continues through his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.
A loyal friend, brother, and husband, Brian was always ready to lend a helping hand. His spirit of generosity and unwavering loyalty left an indelible mark on everyone he met. As a member of the Victor Community Church, Brian's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He found spiritual fulfillment being baptized in the Bitterroot River by Pastor Dan Huggans, a testament to his commitment to his faith community.
A celebration of Brian's life will take place on July 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Victor Community Church, located at 258 5th Ave, Victor, MT 59875. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor the remarkable life of a man who gave so much to so many.
Brian Bachmeier will forever be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and his boundless love for life and family. His legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The Waterfall (By Clyde and Brian)
The waterfall will always flow, Where only the prettiest of flowers grow. Leaves blowing in the wind. The sky is a beautiful blue. The only ones there are me and you. The water falls down, along with the sun. And you and I become one. I tell you I love you very much, Then with passion we kiss, and touch. There is nothing greater than us at all. Because you and I are, the waterfall.
