Brenda Sparks, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on January 13, 1943, in the charming town of Asheboro, Brenda was the cherished daughter of the late Claude and Vern Trotter. Brenda's journey through life was a testament to her unwavering strength, compassion, and love for her family. Despite the heart problems that she faced with courage and grace, Brenda lived a fulfilling life surrounded by those she loved most. She was the devoted wife of Kenneth Sparks, sharing a life filled with love and companionship. Together, they built a family that was the center of Brenda's world. Her children, Mark Smith, Sheri Harmon, and Deanna Shryack, were her pride and joy, and she took immense pleasure in watching them grow and thrive. Brenda's nurturing spirit extended beautifully to her seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She delighted in their laughter and accomplishments, always ready with a warm hug and wise words of encouragement. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire each of them in the years to come. Though she was predeceased by her parents, Claude and Vern Trotter, and her sister, Brenda, their memories remained close to her heart, providing comfort and cherished stories that she shared with her family. A private funeral ceremony will be held in her honor, allowing those closest to her to bid farewell in an intimate setting. Her family kindly suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice, in memory of Brenda's generous spirit.
