Born on April 23, 1945, in Cedar Grove, West Virginia, Brenda was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Blake. She lived a life full of warmth, generosity, and unyielding kindness that touched the hearts of everyone she met. Brenda's journey was marked by her infectious personality and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and understood. She was first and foremost a family woman, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her husband Ed, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage of 42 years. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter, and watching their combined family of her two sons, Terry Hunter and Richard Jackson his children Brian and Aimee mature and delighting in the joy of their grandchildren, Brittney Hessler and Corey Jackson, Austin and Alicia and great-grandchildren, Malikah and Silas. Her professional life mirrored her personal ethos of service and compassion. Brenda worked in customer service for many years, leaving a lasting impact during her time at Dillard's and later at Sam's Club, where she excelled in offering memberships to the public. Her career wasn't just about the work; it was about the connections she made and the smiles she brought to both colleagues and customers alike. Brenda had a profound love for gardening, which she shared generously with her community through her volunteer work at the Mustang Community Garden. Her passion for crafting, flower arranging, jelly making, and canning showcased her creativity and her dedication to homemaking, always finding joy in creating something beautiful and meaningful. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Brenda never met a stranger and was known for her genuine conversations and her particular fondness for talking to babies, always managing to elicit a smile. Brenda is survived by her devoted husband Ed, her sons Terry and Richard, daughters-in-law Stacey, her sisters Mary Casey (Robert), Janice Onstott, and Michelle Padgett (Phillip), along with her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will miss her dearly. In honoring Brenda's legacy, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of giving and kindness.
