Born on January 20, 2006, at CMH in Bolivar, Missouri, Braxton's life, though brief, was filled with purpose, love, and an unwavering dedication to service and family.
A proud graduate of Willard High School, Braxton distinguished himself as a member of the ROTC program, where his hard work and dedication earned him the esteemed rank of Commanding Officer during his senior year. His leadership and integrity left an indelible mark on his peers and instructors alike.
Following high school, Braxton pursued his dream of becoming a law enforcement officer by serving as a corrections officer in Green County. His career was more than just a job; it was a calling to protect and serve his community, a testament to his enduring commitment to making the world a safer and better place.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Braxton was an avid marksman with a passion for shooting and collecting firearms. He found solace in the great outdoors, often spending his free time deer and turkey hunting, which brought him immense joy and peace. His love for nature was paralleled only by his love for his family and friends, whom he supported through countless acts of kindness and wise counsel.
Braxton will be remembered for his ability to comfort others during difficult times, offering wise and kind words that healed and uplifted. His selfless nature and unwavering support were a beacon of hope and strength for those fortunate enough to know him.
A service to honor Braxton's life will be held on June 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Butler Funeral Home, located at 407 E. Broadway St., Bolivar, MO. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Braxton are invited to join in celebrating his remarkable life and the light he shared with the world.
In the words of his family, "The light Braxton brought to this world was put out too soon. He will be loved and missed greatly." His legacy of kindness and courage will continue to inspire us, reminding us to approach each day with the same warmth and dedication that defined Braxton's life.
