November 11, 1992 — February 22, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Brandon Van Buskirk, who departed this world peacefully at home on February 22, 2026. Born on November 11, 1992, in Rochester, NY, Brandon filled his 33 years with love, laughter, and a commitment to those he held dear. Brandon was a cherished son to Matt and Carolyn Van Buskirk, whose unwavering support and love were cornerstones of his life. His bond with his family was unbreakable, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Brandon's legacy continues through his beloved sister, whose friendship and camaraderie were sources of great joy, and through his niece and nephew, who brought endless delight to his life. His grandmothers, whom he adored deeply, were his guiding lights, their wisdom and warmth shaping the man he became. Brandon's life was a testament to the enduring power of family ties, and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A passionate advocate for personal freedoms, Brandon supported the Gun Owners of America. His commitment to this cause was a reflection of his belief in individual rights and responsibilities, a cause he championed with sincerity and dedication. Brandon's kindness and generosity were evident in every facet of his life. He was a friend to many, always ready with a smile or a helping hand. His genuine spirit and unwavering loyalty made him a confidant and ally to all who knew him. Though his time with us was far too brief, his impact was significant, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. In remembrance of Brandon's life and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Gun Owners of America, an organization close to his heart. Brandon Van Buskirk will be remembered not for the length of his days, but for the depth of his love and the strength of his convictions. As we say goodbye, we find solace in the memories of a life well-lived and in the knowledge that he is now at peace. A private service will be held for family and close friends to celebrate his life and honor his memory. May we all strive to carry forward his legacy of compassion, courage, and love.
