March 4, 2002 — April 3, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Don-Romeo Tchato Tante, who left this world too soon on April 3, 2026, at the age of 24. He was born on March 4, 2002, in Fort Worth, Texas, a vibrant city that nurtured his early dreams and aspirations. Romeo, as he was fondly known, was an intelligent and caring soul, whose presence brought warmth to everyone he encountered. He was a graduate of North Crowley High School, class of 2020, where he not only excelled academically but also made lifelong friends who cherished his unyielding kindness and unwavering loyalty. Tragically, Romeo's life was cut short by a senseless accident when he was struck by a drunk driver while traveling with a friend, who survived the incident. Despite the heartbreaking circumstances of his passing, those who knew Romeo will always remember his radiant spirit and the love he shared with those around him. Throughout his life, Romeo was known for his respectful demeanor and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He had a natural charisma that drew people to him, making them feel valued and appreciated. He was a loving son, a devoted brother, a cherished friend, and a treasured grandson whose gentle kindness left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Romeo's life, though brief, was filled with moments of genuine connection and joy. He was the kind of person who saw the best in others and inspired those around him to do the same. His laughter was infectious, and his smile could light up even the darkest of days. He is survived by his loving family and friends who will forever hold the memory of his beautiful spirit close to their hearts. As they navigate this profound loss, they find solace in the fact that Romeo’s legacy of love, respect, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. In celebration of Romeo's life, a memorial service will be held at a future date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the wonderful person he was. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in Romeo’s honor, to continue spreading the compassion and love he embodied. Though he is no longer with us, Romeo's spirit will continue to guide and inspire. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, dear Romeo, knowing that you were deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
