In Loving Memory of Brandon Maurice Cabbagestalk It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brandon Maurice Cabbagestalk, a beloved son, brother, and father, who left this world on December 9, 2016, at the tender age of 26. Born on June 3, 1989, in Pittsburgh, PA, Brandon's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and loyalty. Brandon was the cherished son of Sebrena Cabbagestalk and Andre La'more. He was predeceased by his grandmothers, Willa Campbell and Dorothy La'more, his Aunt Kim, Uncle Jason, and heartbreakingly, his only brother, Domanèk Cabbagestalk, just three months prior. Surviving Brandon are his devoted mother, Sebrena, his loving sister, Katrina, and his two treasured children, Jeremiah and Kayden, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Also mourning his loss are his grandfather, Donald, and uncles Donald, Timmy, and Lil Donnie, along with his Aunt Don. Brandon is deeply missed by his girlfriend, Janaya. From a young age, Brandon displayed a quiet strength and kindness that drew people to him. He was known for his loyalty and was a devoted son who always ensured his mother's well-being. Despite the challenges he faced, including leaving school due to credit issues, Brandon persevered, earning his GED and later graduating from Empire Beauty School with a certificate in barbering, a testament to his determination and resilience. Brandon's career was in its early stages. He worked at Radio Shack, where his love for people shone through, and he was respected and adored by colleagues and customers alike. His hobbies included spending cherished moments with his family and his only friend, Mike, who remained steadfast and true. Although he was not one to play sports, Brandon had a keen eye for detail and was often more like a manager, offering guidance and support. He was a safe haven for those around him, always ensuring that others were okay. A private funeral ceremony was held at Sheffield's Funeral Home, where family and close friends gathered to celebrate Brandon's life and bid farewell to a remarkable young man who touched many hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice, honoring Brandon's spirit of giving and compassion. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who reached out with texts, calls, cards, hugs, and unwavering support during this difficult time. Your kindness and love have been a source of comfort and strength. Brandon, you are deeply missed, and your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you. Rest in peace.
