In Loving Memory of Brandon Lee Fillyaw
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon Lee Fillyaw, who left this world on September 12, 2026, at the age of 30. Born on January 3, 1996, in Phenix City, Alabama
Brandon was the beloved Son/Stepson of Daphne and Charles Parker. He was cherished by his Grandparents, Christy and Stephen Daigle, and Larry and Pam Fillyaw. Brandon's legacy of love continues through his son, Rylan Fillyaw, and his siblings Gabrielle Fillyaw, Katherine Hedden, Kain Hedden, and Martina Wilson. He was also adored by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who considered him family.
A alumnus of Russell County Middle and High School in Seale, Alabama, Brandon's passion for the great outdoors was evident in his love for hunting, fishing, and exploring trails. Brandon felt truly free when in nature, where he could connect with the world around him.
Brandon was a devoted fan of Alabama Football, very very old country music, and Marvel movies. He loved the Lord and found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was having a meal he enjoyed or spending cherished moments with family and friends.
Those who knew Brandon affectionately remember him as a "goofball" with a heart full of love. His humor often brought laughter to those around him, and though he was sometimes seen as a troublemaker, his intentions were always pure. Brandon's free spirit and willingness to help others, even when he had little himself, defined his character. He lived life on his own terms, bravely following the path less traveled
A service to celebrate Brandon's life will be November 22nd in the event room at 7336 bear lane Columbus Ga 31909 .”Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price we pay for love."
Brandon Lee Fillyaw will forever be remembered for his loving heart, infectious laughter, and the indelible mark he left on our lives. May his spirit soar free, as it always longed to do.
