It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brandi Nicole Oshea, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Brandi passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 45, after a courageous battle with cirrhosis of the liver. She left this world surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and resilience.
Brandi was born on March 11, 1977, in Lakewood, Washington, to Margaret Holden and Bob Holden, who predeceased her. She spent her formative years in Spanaway, Washington, where she graduated from Spanaway Lake High School. It was here that Brandi began to form the friendships and connections that would last her lifetime.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Brandi found joy in her work at the Dollar Tree in Parkland, Washington, where she was employed for three years. Her colleagues and customers will remember her not only for her unwavering dedication but also for the kind smile she greeted everyone with. Brandi’s love for the Seattle Seahawks was well known, and she was often seen cheering her team on with enthusiasm and pride.
Brandi's family was the center of her world. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Jason Oshea, with whom she built a life filled with love and laughter. Together, they raised a wonderful son, Michael Ray Stixrud, who was the light of her life. Brandi cherished every moment spent with Michael and her brother, Phillip White. Their bonds were unbreakable, filled with shared memories and laughter.
Brandi also leaves behind a circle of cherished family members, including Angela Hop, Patrick Lewis, and Karlea Oshea, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity of spirit touched all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Though her life was far too short, Brandi lived it with a passion and zest that inspired those around her. Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and enduring strength. As we grieve her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she led and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
A celebration of Brandi’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories, memories, and honor the incredible woman she was. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Brandi’s memory, continuing her legacy of kindness and compassion.
Brandi Nicole Oshea will be forever remembered and deeply missed. May she rest in peace, knowing she was dearly loved and will never be forgotten.
