April 4, 2000 — March 9, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bradley (Veronica) Cuscovitch-Bourey, who left this world on March 9, 2025. Born on April 4, 2000, in Windham, Connecticut, Bradley embraced the complexities of life with a unique perspective and a brilliant mind. His journey, marked by courage and self-discovery, touched the lives of those around him in immeasurable ways. From a young age, Bradley exhibited an exceptional intellect, coupled with a natural curiosity that led him to delve into subjects like neuroscience and the vast wonders of the universe. His love for words and writing was evident to all who knew him, as he had a way of choosing words that many had never heard, weaving them into beautiful narratives through his research and journaling. Despite the challenges presented by his diagnoses of Asperger's Autism, ADHD, and OCD, Bradley navigated life with resilience and determination. In his later years, he embraced his identity with courage, choosing to be known as Veronica, a testament to his journey of self-acceptance and authenticity. A graduate of Windham High School in 2018, Bradley cherished the time spent working alongside his beloved Uncle Ryan at Army Barracks. His passion for adventure and exploration was evident in his love for family trips to Mexico with his mother, Jennifer Gladu, and his grandmother, Patty Cuscovitch. These cherished moments were filled with snorkeling, floating in pools, and savoring the delights of all-you-can-eat buffets. Bradley also found joy in hiking and camping with Uncle Ryan and spending peaceful times at Roaring Brook Campground with his Meme. Bradley's heart was always at home with his family, whether in Coventry, CT, with his grandparents Sam and Patty Cuscovitch or in Swansboro, North Carolina, with his mother Jen, where they enjoyed beach trips and shelling adventures. Bradley is survived by his devoted mother, Jennifer Gladu; his loving grandparents, Sam and Patty Cuscovitch; his cherished Uncle Ryan Cuscovitch and fiancée Sara Carpenter. Though his time with us was far too short, the love and memories he created will forever be etched in the hearts of those he left behind. In honor of Bradley's life, a celebration will be held to remember the laughter, love, and light he brought into the world. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him, reminding us of the beauty found in embracing one's true self and the courage it takes to face life’s challenges with grace and resilience. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Bradley's memory to organizations supporting autism awareness and mental health, causes close to his heart. May Bradley (Veronica) Cuscovitch-Bourey rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of his family and friends.
