February 5, 1946 — June 11, 2026

Bonnie Sue Hutcherson, a cherished soul who embraced life with warmth and grace, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Born on February 5, 1946, in the gentle landscape of Lauderdale County, TN, Bonnie was a beacon of love and kindness, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and heartfelt connections. Bonnie was the beloved daughter of the late Robert "Uncle Bob" Joe and Ethel (Banner) Brown. Her life was a testament to resilience and love, shaped by the bonds with her family and community. Bonnie was predeceased by her devoted husband, Darrell Hutcherson, with whom she shared 46 precious years of marriage, as well as her beloved daughter-in-law, Jennifer Nelville, and siblings Debbie Irene Brown, Tifford Brown, and Donald Brown. Her spirit lives on through her surviving family: her three sons, Robert (Maureen) Neville of Paris, TN, Tim Neville of Ripley, TN, and Ronnie (Tabatha) Neville of Ripley, TN, who reflect her strength and kindness. Bonnie was also blessed with two step-daughters, Diana (Jimmy) Vinson of GA and Kathy (Mike) Pendolino of IL, who adored her dearly. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Shirley (Percy) Poole of Halls, TN, and Martha Presley of McLemoresville, TN. Bonnie's legacy extends to her ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, who she cherished deeply, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends who she considered family. Bonnie's professional life saw her retire from Walmart, where her friendly nature left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. She was a dedicated homemaker, nurturing a loving environment for her family. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, beginning her spiritual journey at Elon Baptist Church and later becoming a treasured member of Gates Baptist Church. Her passions were many, but Bonnie's love for flowers and tending to her garden stood out, reflecting her nurturing spirit. She found joy in sharing meals at her favorite local spots, El Patio and Grecians, where her laughter and warmth filled the room. Bonnie never met a stranger; her love for people was evident in every conversation and interaction. Above all, her devotion to her family and her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ were the cornerstones of her life. A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held on June 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Halls Funeral Home, located at 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring her remarkable journey and the love she so freely gave. Bonnie's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
