It is with heavy hearts that we announce her peaceful passing on May 27, 2026, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Bonnie's life was a testament to grace, love, and unyielding kindness.
Bonnie was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Fisher Boylan and was predeceased by her cherished brother, John Boylan, her sister, Barbara Boylan, and her grandmother, Alice Means. Together, they shaped the compassionate, joyful person we all adored.
In the heart of Bonnie's life was her devoted husband, Gerald Bauer, whom she met through a loving introduction by her mother. Their union was a beacon of love and companionship that blessed them with a wonderful family. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Alyson Bauer, and her treasured granddaughter, Alyssa Magana, who brought immense joy to her life. Bonnie also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Carole Bauer Hiltman, and brother-in-law, Dan Hiltman, as well as her sister-in-law, Joann Boylan, who have been pillars of support.
Bonnie was a devoted member of the American Legion Post #19 Women's Auxiliary, where she dedicated herself to the service of others with a generous spirit that touched countless lives. Her love for family and friends was boundless, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from hosting delightful gatherings with her famous quiche to spending time playing bingo and making occasional donations to the Cocopah Casino.
Her selflessness and warmth were hallmarks of her character, and she excelled at creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt at home. Bonnie’s culinary skills were legendary, and her quiche recipe remains a beloved family treasure.
