Bonnie Jane (Blake) Spray

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Bonnie Jane (Blake) Spray, who left this world on August 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Born on May 25, 1959, to the late Donald Eugene Blake Sr. and Sarah Jane (Turner) Blake in Kansas City, Missouri, Bonnie was a beacon of love and warmth in the lives of all who knew her. Bonnie was a devoted mother to her son, Jeremiah Blake, and his wife, Desarae, of Stratford, OK. She was a proud grandmother to eight adoring grandchildren: Lane Watts, Justin Blake, Maia Stewart, Lucian Stewart, Talen Ross, Daxton Ross, Zoe Blake, and Delilah Blake, and was blessed with one great-grandchild, Amara. In her final days, her family and loving son, Jeremiah, never left her side. A beloved sister to Jennifer Blake, David Blake, Donald Blake Jr., Valerie Neil, Kelly Blake, and Connie Blake, Bonnie was cherished by her siblings and her many close friends who loved her dearly. Her warmth and kindness were unparalleled, and she was known for her strong, loving heart. Bonnie's smile and laughter could light up even the darkest of rooms, and her generosity knew no bounds, extending to friends, family, and strangers alike. Bonnie's passions were as vibrant as her spirit. She found joy in simple pleasures, like watching her favorite show, "Little House on the Prairie," while spending time with her long-time partner Robert. She delighted in capturing precious moments of her grandchildren's lives through countless photographs. Bonnie treasured gatherings with friends and family, eagerly catching up on the news of their lives and sharing in their joys and sorrows. Her family fondly remembers Bonnie's radiant soul and her unwavering commitment to going above and beyond for those she cared about. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire and guide those she left behind. As we say goodbye to our dear Bonnie, we find comfort in these words from Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
