With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bonita Fellin Scott, a beloved sister, aunt, and cherished friend. Born on September 4, 1931, to Gene and Zilda Fellin, Bonita departed this world on June 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Bonita was predeceased by her devoted husband, Charles Edwin Scott, whom she married in March 1951, and her loving parents, Gene and Zilda. Her unwavering dedication to family was evident in the deep bonds she shared with her brother, David Fellin, and sister-in-law, Giuseppina Fellin. She was a cherished aunt to Teresa Hilton, Carmina Johnson and her husband Wes, and Marco Fellin. Bonita's influence extended beyond her immediate family, reaching many friends and relatives who were touched by her warmth and kindness. Bonita's career as a paralegal was marked by her professionalism and dedication, earning her the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Beyond her work, she found joy in life's simple pleasures. Her passion for gardening was evident in the vibrant blooms she lovingly nurtured, and her home was often filled with the beautiful sound of piano music, a testament to her love of music. Together with her late husband Charles, Bonita shared a love for the outdoors. The couple taught skiing at Big Mountain Ski Area and spent countless hours hiking and camping in Glacier National Park. Their adventurous spirits led them to explore Europe on several memorable occasions, creating fond memories that would last a lifetime. Bonita's legacy lives on in the gardens she tended, the music she shared, and the countless memories she created with her loved ones. Her warmth, determination, and love of nature and music touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A memorial service to celebrate Bonita's life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lookout Ski Area. In lieu of flowers, Bonita's family kindly asks that you plant flower seeds in a place where she will be remembered, or consider making a donation to the National Wildlife Foundation in her honor. Bonita lived a simple life, yet she left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered. She will forever remain in our hearts, a beacon of love and grace.
