Bobby T Perry

May 28, 1959 — February 17, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby T. Perry, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Bobby left this world unexpectedly on February 17, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on May 28, 1959, in the warm embrace of Anniston, Alabama, Bobby was the beloved son of the late James Leo Perry and Fannie Eve Perry. Bobby's journey through life was one characterized by dedication, love, and resilience. Raised alongside his siblings Audrey and Terry, and later joined by Tony, Michael, and Crystal, Bobby cherished the bonds of family. Although his beloved daughter, Maranda Perry, preceded him in death, Bobby's legacy lives on through his surviving children, Marie Perry and Marissa Perry, who remember him as a devoted and loving father. A proud member of the Class of 1977 from West Roxbury High School, Bobby answered the call of duty and served with honor in the United States Marine Corps from 1977 to 1980. His time in service was a testament to his strength, courage, and unwavering commitment to his country. Following his military service, Bobby embarked on a vibrant and fulfilling career as a welder, later bringing his skills and determination to a moving company before finding his niche at Mar Trucking. His colleagues remember him not only as a dedicated worker but as a man whose infectious laughter and warm spirit brightened even the hardest of days. Beyond his professional life, Bobby had passions that brought him immense joy. He found solace and freedom behind the wheel, driving with a sense of adventure and appreciation for the open road. Music, too, was a constant companion, providing a soundtrack to his life's journey and a means of expressing his innermost thoughts and feelings. Bobby's family extends beyond bloodlines, including numerous uncles, aunts, relatives, and friends who were touched by his kindness, humor, and generosity. He was a grandfather to two, who will grow up with stories of their grandfather’s loving heart and indomitable spirit. Although Bobby's marriage to Joan Turner ended, their shared memories and the family they created together remain a testament to the love and friendship that once bound them. In the words of his family, "Bobby will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His memories will live forever in all of our hearts." His legacy is one of love, strength, and unyielding dedication to those he held dear. A service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to honor a life well-lived, to share stories of the joy Bobby brought to their lives, and to say farewell to a truly remarkable man. Bobby, you will be forever missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace.
