In Loving Memory

BOBBY SHERWOOD
January 8, 1956 — October 6, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby Sherwood, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who left us on October 6, 2026, at his cherished home. Bobby was born on January 8, 1956, in the serene town of Greenback, Tennessee, to his devoted parents, Jame and Judy Sherwood. Throughout his life, Bobby was a beacon of kindness and warmth, whose presence brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bobby was a proud graduate of Greenback High School, where he began to lay the foundations for a life rich in love and community. He married his soulmate, Kim Sherwood, and together they built a family filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. As a father, Bobby was adored by his children, Willie and Chelsea, and was a doting grandfather to his precious grandchildren, Elizabeth and Billy Sherwood.
Bobby’s life was one of simple pleasures and profound joys. He found peace and happiness in the quiet moments spent fishing by the river and in the early mornings milking cows, connecting with nature in its purest form. His love for the outdoors was a reflection of his gentle spirit and his deep appreciation for the world around him.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Judy and Jame Sherwood, and his brothers, Larry and Windell Sherwood. The memories they shared live on in the hearts of those left behind. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim; his children, Willie and Chelsea; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Billy, who will carry forward his legacy of love, kindness, and strength.
A service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be held on January 5, at Marble Hill Church, 1234 High St, Friendsville, TN. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well lived and a soul deeply cherished.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Bobby’s generous spirit and his commitment to giving back to the community he held dear.
The Sherwood family will host a memorial gathering at a later date, to further honor Bobby’s memory and the indelible mark he left on all our lives. His life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family of BOBBY SHERWOOD welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
