December 13, 1995 — May 28, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bobby Lee Browning Jr, affectionately known to many as BJ, who departed this world on May 28, 2026, at the tender age of 30. Born on December 13, 1995, in the close-knit community of Verdunville, BJ was a beloved son to Beverly D. Vance and Bobby L. Browning Sr and a cherished brother to his late sibling, Tristo. BJ’s journey was one marked by a battle with depression, a struggle that he faced with courage and resilience. In his own words, he often tried in ways that were unseen, seeking solace and understanding in a world that sometimes felt overwhelming. While his path was not easy, BJ's strength lay in his unwavering desire for peace and his pursuit of becoming something better, even when progress seemed elusive. Throughout his life, BJ endeavored to be a source of care and support for those around him. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will remember his quiet strength and the genuine kindness that he extended to others. He was a soul who yearned for connection and understanding, a testament to the depth of his character and the sincerity of his heart. As we gather to honor BJ’s memory, we are reminded of the special message he leaves behind—a heartfelt reflection that speaks to his struggles and hopes, and the enduring impact he wished to leave on the hearts of those he loved. He wanted to be remembered not for the challenges he faced, but for the efforts he made to rise above them, striving always to find light amidst the shadows. A service to celebrate BJ's life will be held on June 1, 2026, at 3:30 PM at the James Funeral Home, located at 832 Old Logan Rd, Logan, WV 25601. Friends and family are invited to come together to share in the remembrance of a life that, despite its challenges, was filled with moments of genuine love and perseverance. BJ’s departure leaves a void in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, free from the burdens that weighed so heavily upon him. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him. In honoring BJ, let us remember the importance of kindness, understanding, and the courage to face our own battles with grace. He may not have always received the life he needed, but his existence touched many, and that means something deeply significant. Rest in peace, dear BJ. You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
