December 24, 1964 — May 31, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Bobby Justice, Jr., a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this world on May 31, 2026, at the age of 60. Bobby, known for his gentle spirit and kind heart, was born in Wichita, Kansas, on December 24, 1964, and graced the lives of those around him until his peaceful departure. Bobby was preceded in death by his loving mother, Ollie Normore, his cherished sister, Brenda Lyday, and his dear brother, Charles McGrown. Their memories remained close to his heart, and he spoke of them often, sharing stories of joy and connection. He leaves behind a family who adored him, including his father, Bobby Justice, Sr.; his sister, Sherida Turner; and his uncle, John Baker, Sr. Bobby's legacy lives on through his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, each of whom he treasured deeply. A proud graduate of Wichita Heights High School, Bobby was a standout athlete. His passion for basketball shone brightly as he excelled on the court, leading his team to victory as a celebrated basketball champion. Bobby dedicated many years of his professional life to Baker Drywall and Construction, working alongside his Uncle John. His strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence were evident in everything he did. Bobby's colleagues remember him as a dedicated worker who always lent a helping hand and spread laughter and warmth wherever he went. Even as his health began to decline, Bobby's resilient spirit remained unshaken, and he continued to inspire those around him. Beyond his professional achievements, Bobby's life was a testament to the power of love and friendship. He was a man who valued relationships above all else, always making time for those he cared about. In celebrating Bobby's life, we are reminded of his extraordinary kindness and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. His gentle soul and warm smile will be missed but never forgotten. As we gather to honor his memory, we carry forward his legacy of love, compassion, and steadfast loyalty. A service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to share stories and pay tribute to a life well-lived. For those who wish to honor Bobby further, his family welcomes donations in his memory to a charity of your choice, a fitting tribute to a man who gave so freely and cared so deeply. May Bobby Justice, Jr. rest in peace, forever cherished in our hearts, and remembered for the light he brought into the world.

He Is Gone

You can shed tears that he is gone, Or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all he's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, Or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he's gone, Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, Or you can do what he'd want: Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
