Bobbie Sue

Bobbie Sue, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, at Lourdes/Mercy in Paducah, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 2, 1954, in Madisonville, Kentucky, Bobbie was the cherished daughter of Bob and Louise Allen (Travis). Throughout her life, Bobbie was a beacon of love and strength, known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her warm, generous spirit. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion, always offering a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need. Her family was her greatest joy and treasure, and she cherished each moment spent with them. Bobbie was preceded in death by her infant son Jacob, her second husband Billy Stone, her parents, and her brothers Johnny Williams and Jimmy Allen. Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family: her children Dodie and Brian Whittington of Kuttawa, and Seth and Brooke McDowell of Eddyville. She leaves behind five adoring grandchildren, Justice Peralta of Eddyville, Jaksen and Gracie McDowell of Benton, Cadence Peralta of Bowling Green, and Kooper McDowell of Eddyville, Pancho Peralta of Eddyville,as well as two precious great-grandchildren, Ivy and Ella McDowell of Benton. Bobbie is also survived by her loving siblings, sister Becky (Ronnie) Hendricks, and brothers Sammy (Jean) Williams, Joe Allen, and Bryan (Leann) Allen. She was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will deeply miss her presence in their lives. A service to honor and celebrate Bobbie's life will be held on August 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, Kentucky. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Bobbie are invited to join in remembering and celebrating her remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to her grandchildren, whose lives she so deeply enriched and loved. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who cared for Bobbie during her final journey. Your kindness and compassion have been a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time. Bobbie Sue's legacy of love, warmth, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her family and friends.
