In Loving Memory
Bobbie-Jean Mitchelle-Fayne
July 26, 1938 — April 16, 2026
It is with heavy hearts yet fond memories that we announce the peaceful passing of Bobbie Jean Fayne, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, on April 16, 2026. Her journey began on July 26, 1938, in the rolling hills of Tennessee, where she was born into a world she would grace with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for 87 wonderful years.
Bobbie's life was a testament to love and dedication, a beacon that shone brightly and touched the lives of all who knew her. On August 23, 1959, she married the love of her life, Alzono Fisher Fayne, embarking on a nearly 70-year partnership that was deeply rooted in love and mutual respect. Although Alzono preceded her in death, their bond endures as they are now reunited in holy matrimony, an eternal love story that continues beyond this earthly realm.
Together, Bobbie and Alzono built a beautiful family, one that Bobbie cherished above all else. She leaves behind her devoted daughters, Sandra and Connie Fayne, whose lives reflect the strength and compassion their mother instilled in them. Bobbie's legacy extends further through her first granddaughter, Nykesha Fayne, and her children Ashar, David, Jermaine, Jalen, Saniya, Danielle, and Amary Fayne. Her nurturing spirit also lives on through her granddaughters Tasha and Quita, and their children Kamiyah, Jonathan, Johntoan, and Alonzo Fayne. In total, Bobbie was blessed with four grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, each one carrying a piece of her heart.
Bobbie was a woman of deep faith, and her life was a testament to the values she held dear. Her warmth and generosity were as boundless as the Tennessee skies she grew up under, and her home was always a haven of love and laughter. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel special, whether through her culinary delights, her infectious laughter, or her sage advice, always given with love.
A celebration of Bobbie Jean Fayne’s remarkable life will be held on May 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM at MR. Tipton CME Church, located at 3044 Brighton Clopton Road, Brighton, Tennessee. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Bobbie are invited to join in honoring her memory and celebrating a life well-lived.
While we mourn her passing, we find solace in knowing that Bobbie’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved, and we are comforted by the immense love she has left behind. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and love will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rest in peace, dear Bobbie. Your life was a blessing, and your memory will forever be a treasure.
