Born on March 18, 1966, in Ogden, Utah, Blake lived a life full of warmth, passion, and dedication, forever leaving an imprint on all who knew him. Blake was the cherished son of Don and Teresa Perkes, and throughout his life, he carried the values and love instilled in him by his family. Though he faced the sorrow of losing his grandfather Don W. Perkes, grandparents Gordon and Thelma Howes, and his dear Aunt Patsy King, Blake remained a beacon of strength and kindness. Blake's legacy lives on through his son Deryck, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his two loving brothers, Kevin and Gail, and Gary and Traci, along with several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. A proud alumnus of Roy High School, Class of 1984, Blake pursued a career where he showed unwavering commitment and resilience. He dedicated over 28 years of service to Cereal Food Processing, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Blake's zest for life was infectious. He was a fervent sports enthusiast, with a particular love for watching his favorite football team, the Chargers, and the exhilarating races of NASCAR. Nature was his solace, and he cherished the moments spent camping and hunting, finding peace and joy in the great outdoors. A celebration of Blake's life will be held on August 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at the Roy City Cemetery, located at 5200 S 2300 W, Roy, Utah 84067.
